Exorcist Diary #109: Demons of Discord

The First Mourning (Cain and Abel), William-Adophe Bouguereau

During my night prayer, I experienced strong feelings of discord regarding some others. It was out of proportion with the events. It didn't make sense. Why am I so upset about nothing? It continued for quite some time.

Then it occurred to me....ah...demons of discord. So I repeated this deliverance prayer for about 15 minutes: "Causa discordiae, vade! Causa discordiae, vade!" (Demons of discord, depart.) It suddenly stopped and a feeling of harmony returned, confirming my discernment of a demonic influence.

The next day I checked with two other team members who also experienced unexplained, unnatural discord around the same time. Satan continues to attack our team in a variety of ways, particularly when we are involved with a high value case. One of the first signs of a demonic influence is discord. We countered it with prayer and then a team meeting. This is the best antidote to demonic discord: prayer and communication.

We are trained to recognize Satan's influence and then to counteract it. I am certain that many, many families, communities and organizations are subject to the same powerful demonic discord. But they may not realize where it is coming from and may fall victim to its strife and discord.

There is also no doubt in my mind that the demons of discord are now running rife in this country. The same antidote applies: prayer and open communication. It is clear that God is protecting our deliverance team as we continue to do our best to do His will. If families, communities and nations willingly give themselves over to doing God's will, and respond to discord with prayer and communication, they too will be protected.
