Prayers of Deliverance

(I)
This is the standard prayer used by AMOE during deliverance sessions. It is important, especially the minister is a priest, to lay one hand on the head of the victim. The hand used may be holding a crucifix or a relic of a saint. This prayer is said a few times as the minister watches for any reaction in the victim. After the prayers are said, the minister should ask what if any physical (headache, stomachache, etc.) and emotional (anger, fear etc.) reactions the victim experienced and at what point in the session. This will help in discernment.

In the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, through his tremendous power as God and through his most powerful and salvific Name, I rebuke, repudiate, bind, and cast out all evil spirits. I command all of you, in the Name of Jesus, to depart right now from N. and go immediately and directly to the foot of the cross of Jesus and never return.

O Most Holy Spirit, fill all the empty spaces left by the evil spirits with your presence and love. I consecrate N. entirely to you, O most Blessed Trinity, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Amen.

(II)
This is an alternative deliverance prayer; it can be used in conjunction with the above deliverance prayer. It has been adapted from its original format.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I command you, you spirit of (name) to depart without doing harm to N. or anyone else in this place, or in his (her) family, and without making any noise or disturbance; and I command you to go straight to Jesus Christ to dispose of as he will. Furthermore, I command you never again to return. O Most Holy Spirit, fill all the empty spaces left by the evil spirits with your presence and love. I consecrate N. entirely to you, O most Blessed Trinity, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Amen.

(III)
To be prayed by the victim:
Heavenly Father, I praise and thank you for all you have given me. Please cover me with the protective, precious blood of your Son, Jesus Christ, and increase your Holy Spirit in me with His gifts of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, hunger for prayer, guidance, and discernment to help me know your will and surrender to it more completely.

Father, please heal my negative emotions and any wounds in my heart and spirit. Send the sword of your Holy Spirit to sever and break all spells, curses, hexes, voodoo, and all negative genetic, intergenerational and addictive material, past, present, or to come, known or unknown, against me, my relationships and family, finances, possessions, and ministry.

Father, I forgive and I ask forgiveness for my sins and failings and I ask that my whole person, body and mind, heart and will, soul and spirit, memory and emotions, attitudes and values lie cleansed, renewed, and protected by the most precious blood of your Son Jesus.

To be prayed by the minister:
In the Name, power, blood, and authority of Jesus Christ, bind and break the power and effect in or around N. of any and all evil spirits who are trying to harm him (her) in any way and I command these spirits and their companion spirits in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to leave him (her) peacefully and quietly and go immediately and directly to the Eucharistic presence of Jesus Christ in the closest Catholic Church tabernacle, to be disposed of by Jesus and never again return to harm him (her).

Dear Holy Spirit, please fill up any void in N. to overflowing with your great love. All this, Father, I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ by the guidance of your Holy Spirit. Immaculate Heart of Mary spouse of the Holy Spirit please pray, for me and with me.

Amen.

(IV)
Lord, almighty, merciful, and omnipotent God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, drive out from N. all influence of evil spirits. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I plead you to break any chain that the Devil has on him (her).

Pour upon N. the most Precious Blood of your Son. May his immaculate and redeeming Blood break all bonds of his (her) body or mind. I ask you this through the intercession the Blessed Virgin Mary. Archangel Saint Michael, intercede and come to his (her) help. In the Name of Jesus, I command all demons that could have any influence over N. to leave him (her) forever. By his scourging, his crown of thorns, his cross, by his blood and resurrection, I command all evil spirits to leave him (her).

By the true God, by the Holy God, by God who can do all, in the Name of Jesus my Saviour and Lord, leave him (her).
