One Who Has Eaten Something Defiling Prayer

O Master, Lord our God, Who lives in the Highest, and looks down upon the humble: O Thou Who art honored in the Saints, the Praise of Israel, incline Thine ear, and hearken unto us who have beseeched Thee. Do Thou also grant remission to Thy servant (handmaid), N., who has tasted and eaten filthy meat (or impure food or anything taken from idols or which in anyway is bonded to unclean spirits), which Thou hast forbidden to be eaten in Thy holy law; and forgive him (her) who has partaken of such involuntarily. And count him (her) worthy to partake uncondemned of Thine awesome Mysteries, the precious Body and Blood of Thy Christ, and that he (she) be delivered from taking of anything unclean, and any other unclean acts, that being nourished by Thy Divine Mysteries, and delighting in Thy Holy and Mystical Table, and the Immortal Mysteries and being preserved with us in Thy Holy Church, he (she) shall praise and glorify Thy lofty Name all the days of his (her) life.

For Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory of the + Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

(Cabading, 198-199)
