I felt nauseous during a deliverance session, especially when the prayers to lift freemasonic curses were read. Is it normal?

Response: It can be diagnostic when someone has a reaction to deliverance prayers. This is especially true if the person was feeling fine beforehand, experienced a negative feeling during the prayer, and then when it was all done, the person felt lighter and freer. It is possible that the prayer triggered something. Of course, it could be psychological if the prayer triggered something negative in the person's emotional past.
However, it is also true that if the person has some demonic affliction or lingering curse, there will sometimes be a reaction when prayers are read to lift the affliction. For example, the person might have a headache, bodily pains, a flash of anger, nausea and even vomiting. In this particular case, the person may have some freemasonic or similar occult curses in his/her background, and thus the reaction to these specific prayers.
So, having an ugly feeling during deliverance prayers that passes and gives way to a positive feeling of having been cleansed and liberated is a good thing. Of course, if the negative feelings during the prayers are too strong, then the person should consult with a priest and dose the prayers slowly so as not to overwhelm the person. Also, if the prayers are indeed having a positive effect on casting out any demonic or occult presence, then a continued course of deliverance prayers may be helpful. We often will continue with these specific deliverance prayers with the person until the reaction dissipates completely, suggesting that whatever was present has been completely cast out.
