Sealing Prayer of Protection
Priest seals everyone with Holy Oil: The priest blesses himself and others with the exorcized Holy Oil saying:
N., I seal you in the most Precious Blood against any and all incursions of the evil one, in particular against any clinging, familial, familiar or retaliating spirits; and I seal you against any spirits sent or summoned against anyone who would attempt to break any and all evil curses, pacts, spells, seals, hexes, vexes, triggers, trances, vows, demonic blessings, demonic bondages, spiritual influences, soul ties, endowments, empowerments, dedications, consecrations, contracts or promises, the Name of the Father and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
(Ripperger, Minor Exorcisms p. 13)
Breaking Occult Ties
In the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the merits of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul and all the saints, I break every occult tie of black magic (sorcery, curse, etc.) between you, foul spirit N. (name of demon) and N. (name of person). I bind every power of this spirit and I command him to leave N. and to go to the foot of the cross.
(Ripperger, Minor Exorcisms, pp. 345)
"Let there not be found among you anyone who causes their son or daughter to pass through the fire, or practices divination, or is a soothsayer, augur, or sorcerer, or who casts spells, consults ghosts and spirits, or seeks oracles from the dead. Anyone who does such things is an abomination to the LORD..." (Dt 18:10-12)

Umbrellino Prayer
The Priest prays the following:
Lord Jesus Christ, Sovereign King enthroned in Heaven, in your love and mercy establish a perimeter of protection with Your Most Precious Blood around myself (and N.), our families, loved ones, those we cherish, and our possessions, blocking the empowerment of Satan or any other demonic enthronement, abominations in Your sight. I beseech You to create around me (and N.) a sanctuary of your mercy where Satan and any other evil spirit or human agency cannot empower or aid in any way, the demons present here, rendering them deaf, dumb and blind, unable to communicate or receive any empowerment from any other evil spirit by isolating them from each other; that You would strip them of all weapons, armor, power, illusions and authority; that You would bind, rebuke and disable them from communicating or interacting with each other in any way. We ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, enthroned as Queen of Heaven and earth, Mother of the Church, the Sorrowful Mother, Virgin Most Powerful and St. Michael the Archangel, to send down the legions of angels under their command to block, bind and withhold any demons, whether it is Satan or any of his minions, from supporting, aiding or communicating with the demons present in and around (N.), destroying any ability of these to fortify their stronghold, lengthen their stay or strengthen their ability to attack or hide. We ask this in Your Most Holy Name, the Name before which every knee shall bow, in heaven, on the earth and under the earth. Amen.

Binding Prayer
The priest prays the following:
In the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and God, and by the power and authority of my priesthood, I invoke the full authority of the Church and the keys of St. Peter and I render all spirits impotent, paralyzed and ineffective in attempting to take revenge against anyone of us, our families, friends, communities, those who pray for us and their family members or anyone associated with us. I bind and sever and cut off all evil spirits, all powers in the air, the water, the ground, the fire, the underground, the netherworld, any satanic forces in nature and any and all emissaries of the satanic headquarters. I bind in the Blood of Jesus all their attributes, aspects and characteristics, all of their interactions, communications and deceitful games. I break any and all bonds, ties and attachments in the Name of the Father and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit.
R. Amen.
Prayer against Retaliation
Lord Jesus Christ, in your love and mercy, pour Thy Precious Blood over N. so that no demon or disembodied spirit may retaliate against him (her). Mary surround him (her) with thy mantle, blocking any retaliating spirits from having any authority over him (her). St. Michael, surround him (her) with thy shield, so that no evil spirit may take revenge on him (her). Queen of Heaven and St. Michael, send down the legions of angels under your command to fight off any spirits that would seek to harm him (her). All you saints of heaven, impede any retaliating spirit from influencing him (her). Lord Thou art the Just Judge, the avenger of the wicked, the Advocate of the Just, we beg in Thy mercy, that all we ask of Mary, the angels and the saints of heaven be also granted to all our loved ones, those who pray for us and their loved ones, that for Thy Glory’s sake we may enjoy Thy perfect protection.
R. Amen.
Holy Water is then sprinkled over all in the room.
Extraordinary Rite of Exorcism (Weller vol. II, pp. 175-223)
Rite of Exorcism
1. The priest delegated by the Ordinary to perform this office should first go to confession or at least elicit an act of contrition, and, if convenient, offer the holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and implore God's help in other fervent prayers. He vests in surplice and purple stole. Having before him the person possessed (who should be bound if there is any danger), he traces the sign of the cross over him, over himself, and the bystanders, and then sprinkles all of them with holy water. After this he kneels and says the Litany of the Saints, exclusive of the prayers which follow it. All present are to make the responses. At the end of the litany he adds the following:

Antiphon: Do not keep in mind, O Lord, our offenses or those of our parents, nor take vengeance on our sins.
Our Father… (the rest inaudibly until:)
P: And lead us not into temptation.
All: But deliver us from evil.
Psalm 53
Save me, O God, By your name, and further my cause by your power. O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth. For proud men have risen against me, and men of violence have sought my life: they have not set God before their eyes. But see - God is my helper; the Lord supports my life. Let the evil recoil upon my foes, and cut them off in thy faithfulness. Gladly will I sacrifice unto you. I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good. In every need He has delivered me, and my eye has seen the confusion of my foe.
Glory be to the Father…
After the psalm the priest continues:
P: Save your servant.
All: Who trusts in you, my God.
P: Let him (her) find in you, Lord, a fortified tower.
All: In the face of the enemy.
P: Let the enemy have no power over him (her).
All: And the son of iniquity be powerless to harm him (her).
P: Lord, send him (her) aid from your holy place.
All: And watch over him (her) from Sion.
P: Lord, heed my prayer.
All: And let my cry be heard by you.
P: The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Let us pray.
God, whose nature is ever merciful and forgiving, accept our prayer that this servant of yours, bound by the fetters of sin, may be pardoned by your loving kindness.
Holy Lord, almighty Father, everlasting God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who once and for all consigned that fallen and apostate tyrant to the flames of hell, who sent your only- begotten Son into the world to crush that roaring lion; hasten to our call for help and snatch from ruination and from the clutches of the noonday devil this human being made in your image and likeness. Strike terror, Lord, into the beast now laying waste your vineyard. Fill your servants with courage to fight manfully against that reprobate dragon, lest he despise those who put their trust in you, and say with Pharaoh of old: "I know not God, nor will I set Israel free." Let your mighty hand cast him out of your servant, N., + so he may no longer hold captive this person whom it pleased you to make in your image, and to redeem through your Son; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
All: Amen.
2. Then he commands the demon as follows:
I command you, unclean spirit, whoever you are, along with all your minions now attacking this servant of God, by the mysteries of the incarnation, passion, resurrection, and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, by the descent of the Holy Spirit, by the coming of our Lord for judgment, that you tell me by some sign your name, and the day and hour of your departure. I command you, moreover, to obey me to the letter, I who am a minister of God despite my unworthiness; nor shall you be emboldened to harm in any way this creature of God, or the bystanders, or any of their possessions.
3. Next he reads over the possessed person these selections from the Gospel, or at least one of them.
A Reading from the holy Gospel according to St. John (John 1:1-14)
As he says these opening words he signs himself and the possessed on the brow, lips, and breast.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him, was made nothing that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men: and the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men: and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness to the light, that all men might believe through him. He was not the light, but was to give testimony to the light. That was the true light, which enlightens every man that comes into this world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, He gave them power to be made the sons of God, to them that believe in His name. Who was born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. (genuflect). And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as it were of the Only-Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
A Reading from the holy Gospel according to St. Mark. (Mark 16:15-18)
At that time Jesus said to His disciples: "Go into the whole world and preach the Gospel to all creation. He that believes and is baptized will be saved; he that does not believe will be condemned. And in the way of proofs of their claims, the following will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will take up serpents in their hands, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and these will recover."
A Reading from the holy Gospel according to St. Luke. (Luke 10:17-20)
At that time the seventy-two returned in high spirits. "Master," they said, "even the demons are subject to us because we use your name!" "Yes," He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall like lightning that flashes from heaven. But mind: it is I that have given you the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and break the dominion of the enemy everywhere; nothing at all can injure you. Just the same, do not rejoice in the fact that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice in the fact that your names are engraved in heaven."
A Reading from the holy Gospel according to St. Luke. (Luke 11:14-22)
At that time Jesus was driving out a demon, and this particular demon was dumb. The demon was driven out, the dumb man spoke, and the crowds were enraptured. But some among the people remarked: "He is a tool of Beelzebul, and that is how he drives out demons!" Another group, intending to test Him, demanded of Him a proof of His claims, to be shown in the sky. He knew their inmost thoughts. "Any kingdom torn by civil strife," He said to them, "is laid in ruins; and house tumbles upon house. So, too, if Satan is in revolt against himself, how can his kingdom last, since you say that I drive out demons as a tool of Beelzebul. And furthermore: if I drive out demons as a tool of Beelzebul, whose tools are your pupils when they do the driving out? Therefore, judged by them, you must stand condemned. But, if, on the contrary, I drive out demons by the finger of God, then, evidently the kingdom of God has by this time made its way to you. As long as a mighty lord in full armor guards his premises, he is in peaceful possession of his property; but should one mightier than he attack and overcome him, he will strip him of his armor, on which he had relied, and distribute the spoils taken from him."
P: Lord, heed my prayer.
All: And let my cry be heard by you.
P: The Lord be with you.
All: May He also be with you.
Let us pray.
Almighty Lord, Word of God the Father, Jesus Christ, God and Lord of all creation; who gave to your holy apostles the power to tramp underfoot serpents and scorpions; who along with the other mandates to work miracles was pleased to grant them the authority to say: "Depart, you devils!" and by whose might Satan was made to fall from heaven like lightning; I humbly call on your holy name in fear and trembling, asking that you grant me, your unworthy servant, pardon for all my sins, steadfast faith, and the power--supported by your mighty arm--to confront with confidence and resolution this cruel demon. I ask this through you, Jesus Christ, our Lord and God, who are coming to judge both and the dead and the world by fire.
R. Amen
4. Next he makes the sign of the cross over himself and the one possessed, places the end of the stole on the latter’s neck, and, putting his right hand on the latter’s head, he says the following in accents filled with confidence and faith:
P: See the cross of the Lord; begone, you hostile powers!
All: The stem of David, the lion of Judah's tribe has conquered.
P: Lord, heed my prayer.
All: And let my cry be heard by you.
P: The Lord be with you.
All: May He also be with you.
Let us pray.
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I appeal to your holy name, humbly begging your kindness, that you graciously grant me help against this and every unclean spirit now tormenting this creature of yours; through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen.
Exorcism
I cast you out, unclean spirit, along with every satanic power of the enemy, every spectre from hell, and all your fell companions; in the name of our Lord Jesus + Christ, begone and stay far from this creature of God. + For it is He who commands you, He who flung you headlong from the heights of heaven into the depths of hell. It is He who commands you, He who once stilled the sea and the wind and the storm. Hearken, therefore, and tremble in fear, Satan, you enemy of the faith, you foe of the human race, you begetter of death, you robber of life, you corrupter of justice, you root of all evil and vice, seducer of men, betrayer of the nations, instigator of envy, font of avarice, fomentor of discord, author of pain and sorrow. Why, then, do you stand and resist, knowing as you must that Christ the Lord brings your plans to nothing? Fear Him, who in Isaac was offered in sacrifice, in Joseph sold into bondage, slain as the paschal lamb, crucified as man, yet triumphed over the powers of hell. (The three signs of the cross which follow are traced on the brow of the possessed person). Begone, then, in the name of the Father, + and of the Son, + and of the Holy + Spirit. Give place to the Holy Spirit by this sign of the holy + cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
All: Amen.
P: Lord, heed my prayer.
All: And let my cry be heard by you.
P: The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Let us pray.
God, Creator and defender of the human race, who made man in your own image, look down in pity on this your servant, N., now in the toils of the unclean spirit, now caught up in the fearsome threats of man's ancient enemy, sworn foe of our race, who befuddles and stupefies the human mind, throws it into terror, overwhelms it with fear and panic. Repel, O Lord, the devil's power, break asunder his snares and traps, put the unholy tempter to flight. By the sign + (on the brow) of your name, let your servant be protected in mind and body. (The three crosses which follow are traced on the breast of the possessed person). Keep watch over the inmost recesses of his (her) + heart; rule over his (her) + emotions; strengthen his (her) + will. Let vanish from his (her) soul the temptings of the mighty adversary. Graciously grant, O Lord, as we call on your holy name, that the evil spirit, who hitherto terrorized over us, may himself retreat in terror + and defeat, so that this servant of yours may sincerely and steadfastly render you the service which is your due; through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen.
Exorcism
I adjure you, ancient serpent, by the judge of the living and the dead, by your Creator, by the Creator of the whole universe, by Him who has the power to consign you to hell, to depart forthwith in fear, along with your savage minions, from this servant of God, N., who seeks refuge in the fold of the Church. I adjure you again, + (on the brow) not by my weakness but by the might of the Holy Spirit, to depart from this servant of God, N., whom almighty God has made in His image. Yield, therefore, yield not to my own person but to the minister of Christ. For it is the power of Christ that compels you, who brought you low by His cross. Tremble before that mighty arm that broke asunder the dark prison walls and led souls forth to light. May the trembling that afflicts this human frame, + (on the breast) the fear that afflicts this image + (on the brow) of God, descend on you. Make no resistance nor delay in departing from this man, for it has pleased Christ to dwell in man. Do not think of despising my command because you know me to be a great sinner. It is God + Himself who commands you; the majestic Christ + who commands you. God the Father + commands you; God the Son + commands you; God the Holy + Spirit commands you. The mystery of the cross commands + you. The faith of the holy apostles Peter and Paul and of all the saints commands + you. The blood of the martyrs commands + you. The continence of the confessors commands + you. The devout prayers of all holy men and women command + you. The saving mysteries of our Christian faith command + you.
Depart, then, transgressor. Depart, seducer, full of lies and cunning, foe of virtue, persecutor of the innocent. Give place, abominable creature, give way, you monster, give way to Christ, in whom you found none of your works. For He has already stripped you of your powers and laid waste your kingdom, bound you prisoner and plundered your weapons. He has cast you forth into the outer darkness, where everlasting ruin awaits you and your abettors. To what purpose do you insolently resist? To what purpose do you brazenly refuse? For you are guilty before almighty God, whose laws you have transgressed. You are guilty before His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, whom you presumed to tempt, whom you dared to nail to the cross. You are guilty before the whole human race, to whom you profferred by your enticements the poisoned cup of death.
Therefore, I adjure you, profligate dragon, in the name of the spotless + Lamb, who has trodden down the asp and the basilisk, and overcome the lion and the dragon, to depart from this man (woman) + (on the brow), to depart from the Church of God + (signing the bystanders). Tremble and flee, as we call on the name of the Lord, before whom the denizens of hell cower, to whom the heavenly Virtues and Powers and Dominations are subject, whom the Cherubim and Seraphim praise with unending cries as they sing: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Sabaoth. The Word made flesh + commands you; the Virgin's Son + commands you; Jesus + of Nazareth commands you, who once, when you despised His disciples, forced you to flee in shameful defeat from a man; and when He had cast you out you did not even dare, except by His leave, to enter into a herd of swine. And now as I adjure you in His + name, begone from this man (woman) who is His creature. It is futile to resist His + will. It is hard for you to kick against the + goad. The longer you delay, the heavier your punishment shall be; for it is not men you are contemning, but rather Him who rules the living and the dead, who is coming to judge both the living and the dead and the world by fire.
All: Amen.
P: Lord, heed my prayer.
All: And let my cry be heard by
P: The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Let us pray.
God of heaven and earth, God of the angels and archangels, God of
the prophets and apostles, God of the martyrs and virgins, God who have power to bestow life after death and rest after toil; for there is no other God than you, nor can there be another true God beside you, the Creator of heaven and earth, who are truly a King, whose kingdom is without end; I humbly entreat your glorious majesty to deliver this servant of yours from the unclean spirits; through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen.
Exorcism
Therefore, I adjure you every unclean spirit, every spectre from hell, every satanic power, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who was led into the desert after His baptism by John to vanquish you in your citadel, to cease your assaults against the creature whom He has formed from the slime of the earth for His own honor and glory; to quake before wretched man, seeing in him the image of almighty God, rather than his state of human frailty. Yield then to God, + who by His servant, Moses, cast you and your malice, in the person of Pharaoh and his army, into the depths of the sea. Yield to God, + who, by the singing of holy canticles on the part of David, His faithful servant, banished you from the heart of King Saul. Yield to God, + who condemned you in the person of Judas Iscariot, the traitor. For He now flails you with His divine scourges, + He in whose sight you and your legions once cried out: "What have we to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Have you come to torture us before the time?" Now He is driving you back into the everlasting fire, He who at the end of time will say to the wicked: "Depart from me, you accursed, into the everlasting fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels." For you, O evil one, and for your followers there will be worms that never die. An unquenchable fire stands ready for you and for your minions, you prince of accursed murderers, father of lechery, instigator of sacrileges, model of vileness, promoter of heresies, inventor of every obscenity.
Depart, then, + impious one, depart, + accursed one, depart with all your deceits, for God has willed that man should be His temple. Why do you still linger here? Give honor to God the Father + almighty, before whom every knee must bow. Give place to the Lord Jesus + Christ, who shed His most precious blood for man. Give place to the Holy + Spirit, who by His blessed apostle Peter openly struck you down in the person of Simon Magus; who cursed your lies in Annas and Saphira; who smote you in King Herod because he had not given honor to God; who by His apostle Paul afflicted you with the night of blindness in the magician Elyma, and by the mouth of the same apostle bade you to go out of Pythonissa, the soothsayer. Begone, + now! Begone, + seducer! Your place is in solitude; your abode is in the nest of serpents; get down and crawl with them. This matter brooks no delay; for see, the Lord, the ruler comes quickly, kindling fire before Him, and it will run on ahead of Him and encompass His enemies in flames. You might delude man, but God you cannot mock. It is He who casts you out, from whose sight nothing is hidden. It is He who repels you, to whose might all things are subject. It is He who expels you, He who has prepared everlasting hellfire for you and your angels, from whose mouth shall come a sharp sword, who is coming to judge both the living and the dead and the world by fire.
All: Amen.
5. All the above may be repeated as long as necessary, until the one possessed has been fully freed.
6. It will also help to say devoutly and often over the afflicted person the Our Father, Hail Mary, and the Creed, as well as any of the prayers given below.
7. The Canticle of our Lady, with the doxology; the Canticle of Zachary, with the doxology.
Athanasian Creed
P: Whoever wills to be saved * must before all else hold fast to the Catholic faith.
All: Unless one keeps this faith whole and untarnished, * without doubt he will perish forever.
P: Now this is the Catholic faith: * that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in unity;
All: Neither confusing the Persons one with the other, * nor making a distinction in their nature.
P: For the Father is a distinct Person; and so is the Son, * and so is the Holy Spirit.
All: Yet the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit possess one Godhead, * co-equal glory, co-eternal majesty.
P: As the Father is, so is the Son, * so also is the Holy Spirit.
All: The Father is uncreated, the Son is uncreated, * the Holy Spirit is uncreated.
P: The Father is infinite, the Son is infinite, * the Holy Spirit is infinite.
All: The Father is eternal, the Son is eternal, * the Holy Spirit is eternal.
P: Yet they are not three eternals, * but one eternal God.
All: Even as they are not three uncreated, or three infinites, * but one uncreated and one infinite God.
P: So likewise the Father is almighty, the Son is almighty, * the Holy Spirit is almighty.
All: Yet they are not three almighties, * but they are the one Almighty.
P: Thus the Father is God, the Son is God, * the Holy Spirit is God.
All: Yet they are not three gods, * but one God.
P: Thus the Father is Lord, the Son is Lord, * the Holy Spirit is Lord.
All: Yet there are not three lords, * but one Lord.
P: For just as Christian truth compels us to profess that each Person is individually God and Lord, * so does the Catholic religion forbid us to hold that there are three gods or lords.
All: The Father was not made by any power; * He was neither created nor begotten.
P: The Son is from the Father alone, * neither created nor made, but begotten.
All: The Holy Spirit is from the Father and the Son, * neither made nor created nor begotten, but He proceeds.
P: So there is one Father, not three; one Son, not three; * one Holy Spirit, not three.
All: And in this Trinity one Person is not earlier or later, nor is one greater or less; * but all three Persons are co-eternal and co-equal.
P: In every way, then, as already affirmed, * unity in Trinity and Trinity in unity is to be worshipped.
All: Whoever, then, wills to be saved * must assent to this doctrine of the Blessed Trinity.
P: But it is necessary for everlasting salvation * that one also firmly believe in the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
All: True faith, then, requires us to believe and profess * that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is both God and man.
P: He is God, begotten of the substance of the Father from eternity; * He is man, born in time of the substance of His Mother.
All: He is perfect God, and perfect man * subsisting in a rational soul and a human body.
P: He is equal to the Father in His divine nature, * but less than the Father in His human nature as such.
All: And though He is God and man, * yet He is the one Christ, not two;
P: One, however, not by any change of divinity into flesh, * but by the act of God assuming a human nature.
All: He is one only, not by a mixture of substance, * but by the oneness of His Person.
P: For, somewhat as the rational soul and the body compose one man, * so Christ is one Person who is both God and man;
All: Who suffered for our salvation, who descended into hell, * who rose again the third day from the dead;
P: Who ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty, * from there He shall come to judge both the living and the dead.
All: At His coming all men shall rise again in their bodies, * and shall give an account of their works.
P: And those who have done good shall enter into everlasting life, * but those who have done evil into everlasting fire.
All: All this is Catholic faith, * and unless one believes it truly and firmly one cannot be saved.
P: Glory be to the Father...
All: As it was in the beginning...

Prayer Following Deliverance
P: Almighty God, we beg you to keep the evil spirit from further molesting this servant of yours, and to keep him far away, never to return. At your command, O Lord, may the goodness and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Redeemer,
take possession of this man (woman). May we no longer fear any evil
since the Lord is with us; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
All: Amen.
Cleansing Prayer (Cabading, pp. 212-213):
Lord Jesus, thank You for sharing with us Your wonderful ministry of healing and deliverance. Thank You for the healing we have seen and experienced today. But we realize that the sickness and evil we encountered are more than our humanities can bear. So cleanse us of any sadness, negativity, or despair that we may have picked up during the course of this ministry.
If our ministry has tempted us to anger, impatience, or lust, cleanse us of those temptations and replace them with love, joy and peace. If any evil spirits have attached themselves to us or oppress us in any way, I command You, spirits of earth, air, fire, or water, of the netherworld or of nature, and all spirits not of the Holy Spirit to depart now and go straight to Jesus Christ, for Him to deal with as He wills.
Come, Holy Spirit, renew us, fill us anew with Your power, love and joy. Strengthen us where we have felt weak and clothe us with Your light. Fill us with life. And Lord Jesus, please send your holy angels to minister to us and our families and to guard and protect us from all sickness, harm, and accidents and guard us on a safe trip home, and grant us a peaceful night’s rest. We praise You now and forever, + Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Amen.

Dómine sancte, Pater omnípotens, aetérne Deus, Pater Dómini nostri Jesu Christi, qui illum réfugam tyránnum et apóstatam gehénnae ígnibus deputásti, quique Unigénitum tuum in hunc mundum misísti, ut illum rugiéntem contéreret: velóciter atténde, accélera, ut erípias hóminem ad imáginem et similitúdinem tuam creátum, a ruína, et daemónio meridiáno. Da, Dómine, terrórem tuum super béstiam, quae extérminat víneam tuam. 3. Deinde legantur super obsessum haec Evangelia, vel saltem unum.
Léctio sancti Evangélii secúndum Joánnem. (Joan: 1:1-14)
In illo témpore: Dixit Jesus discípulis suis: Eúntes in mundum univérsum, praedicáte Evangélium omni creatúrae.

Extraordinary Form Rite of Exorcism - English

P: Now this is the Catholic faith: * that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in unity;
All: And though He is God and man, * yet He is the one Christ, not two;
P: One, however, not by any change of divinity into flesh, * but by the act of God assuming a human nature.
All: He is one only, not by a mixture of substance, * but by the oneness of His Person.
P: For, somewhat as the rational soul and the body compose one man, * so Christ is one Person who is both God and man;
All: Who suffered for our salvation, who descended into hell, * who rose again the third day from the dead;
P: Who ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father almighty, * from there He shall come to judge both the living and the dead.
All: At His coming all men shall rise again in their bodies, * and shall give an account of their works.

All: Amen.
Umbrellino Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, Sovereign King enthroned in Heaven, in your love and mercy establish a perimeter of protection with Your Most Precious Blood around myself (and N.), our families, loved ones, those we cherish, and our possessions, blocking the empowerment of Satan or any curses or any other demonic enthronement, abominations in Your sight.

R. Amen.
(Ripperger, Minor Exorcisms, p. 20)
Prayer of Liberation from the Spirit of Divination and Closing the "Occult Third Eye"
If possible the prayer session should be held in a sacred place with at least a Crucifix or an image or Icon of Our Lord or of Our Lady, or in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
The priest wears purple stole.
P. Our help is in the + name of the Lord.
R. Who made heaven and earth.
P. The Lord be with you.
R. And with your spirit.
Renouncement
In the case of a child or one who can not yet speak and therefore cannot yet make their own renouncements and supplications, the parents or guardians stand on their behalf.
P. Do you renounce Satan, father of sin and prince of darkness? (3x)
R. I renounce him.
P. And all his works?
R. I renounce them.
P. And all his empty promises.
R. I renounce them.
P. Do you renounce the spirit of divination and whatever power it has given you, so as to live in the freedom of God’s children? (3x)
R. I renounce it.
P. Do you renounce the glamor of evil, and refuse to be mastered by sin?
R. I renounce it.
This, or with some similar words, the Priest invites the Afflicted to make a public Act of Contrition.
P. Now confess your sins before God with true repentance and sorrow.
This prayer can be used as an option if the afflicted is deep into the practice of the occult.
The Afflicted with true sorrow and repentance says:
Heavenly Father, in the name of your only begotten Son, Jesus + Christ, I renounce Satan and all his works, witchcraft, the use of divination, the use of the Occult Third Eye and the Evil Eye, the practicing of sorcery, dealings with mediums and spiritualists, Ouija boards, astrology, horoscopes, numerology, all types of fortune telling, palm reading, tea-leaves reading, levitation, and anything associated with the occult and Satan, whether knowingly or through ignorance, I renounce all of them in the name of the Lord Jesus + Christ who came in the flesh, and by the power of His Cross, His blood and His resurrection, I break their hold over me.
I confess all these sins before you and ask you to cleanse and forgive me. I confess with my lips and my heart that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, and ask you Lord Jesus to enter my heart and create in me the kind of person you have intended me to be. I ask you to send forth Your Holy Spirit and renew me with His life-giving and sanctifying gifts, just as when you breathed on the apostles the Holy Spirit after your resurrection and sealed and empowered them on the day of Pentecost.
I thank you Almighty Father according to the riches of your glory, for strengthening my inner spirit with the power of your Holy Spirit, so that Christ may dwell in my heart. Through faith, rooted and grounded in love, may I be able to comprehend with all the saints, the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love which surpasses all knowledge. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
or
[I confess to You, my Lord, God and Creator, to the One glorified and worshipped in Holy Trinity, to the + Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all my sins which I have committed all the days of my life, at every hour, in the present and in the past, day and night, in thought, word and deed: by gluttony, drunkenness, secret eating, idle talking, despondency, indolence, contradiction, neglect, aggressiveness, self-love, hoarding, stealing, lying, dishonesty, curiosity, jealousy, envy, anger, resentment, and remembering wrongs, hatred, vindictiveness, playing with occult powers; and by all my senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch; and all other sins, spiritual and bodily, through which I have angered You, My God and Creator, and caused injustice to my neighbors. Sorrowing for this, but determined to repent, I stand guilty before You, my God. Only help me, my Lord and God, I humbly pray to You with tears. Forgive my past sins by Your mercy, and absolve me from all I have confessed in Your Presence, for You are good and the Lover of Mankind.
R. Amen.
O God, + absolve, remit, and pardon my voluntary and involuntary sins, in word and deed, known and unknown, by day and by night, in mind and thought; forgive me, in Your goodness and love for mankind.
While striking the chest thrice, the Afflicted says:
O God, be merciful to me, a sinner (3x)
Repentance
Have mercy on me, Lord, have mercy on me. At a loss for any defense, I a sinner offer this prayer to You, the Master: have mercy on me.
Glory be to the + Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Lord, have mercy on me, for I have put my trust in You. Rise not in anger against me, remember not my transgressions, but in the depth of Your mercy look upon me even now and save me from my enemies both visible and invisible; for You are my God and I am Your servant (handmaid), I am the work of Your hands and I constantly call upon your Name.
Now and always and forever and ever.
O Blessed Mother of God, open the portal of your deep mercy to me who put my trust in you, so that I may not be brought to confusion, but through You may be delivered from adversity; for You are the salvation of the Christian fold.
Lord have mercy! (3x)
General absolution
The priest puts his hand on the head of the Afflicted and says:
P. May Almighty + God have mercy on you, forgive you your sins, and grant you everlasting life.
R. Amen.
Prayer to the Guardian Angel
To be prayed by the Afflicted:
O Angel of Christ, my holy guardian and protector of my soul and body, forgive me all my sins today. Deliver me from all the wiles of the Enemy, that I may not anger God by any sin. Pray for me, sinful and unworthy servant (handmaid), that you may present me worthy of the kindness and mercy of the All-Holy Trinity and the Mother of my Lord Jesus Christ, and of all the Saints. Amen.
Prayer to the Patron Saints
To be prayed by the Afflicted:
Pray for me, O Most Immaculate Virgin Mary Mother of God, Saints Joseph, Nicholas, Dominic, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Sts. NN. ( patron saints of the afflicted), for with fervor I come to you, speedy helpers and intercessors for my soul.
Profession of Faith
This or with some similar words he enjoins the Afflicted to make his profession of Faith.
P. Now with firm Faith and Trust in God profess your faith in Him.
To be prayed by the Afflicted:
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
R. Amen.
P. This is our faith. This is the faith of the Church. We are proud to profess it, in Christ Jesus our Lord for it is this faith that will heal and save us.
R. Amen. (3x)
Exorcism of the spirits of divination and Occult Third Eye
The Afflicted firmly and with faith says:
I renounce all the spirits of divination and the power of demons that came in me to give me this power and I command you to leave me now in the name of Jesus + Christ. (3x)
Silently the Afflicted prays in Mind and Heart while to priest prays for the Afflicted:
All spirits of darkness and divination leave me now in the name of Jesus.
(To be repeated by the Afflicted silently in mind and heart with faith.)
For the Priest:
The priest proceeds to break all ties the Afflicted has with the spirit of divination and occult powers. With his right hand over the head of the Afflicted and the helm of his stole around the neck of the Afflicted he then says:
In the Name of + Jesus, I break any unholy ties, links and bondages between N. and the spirit of divination and all evil sources and spirits. (3x)
The priest meanwhile, instructs the Afflicted to look directly at him. Do not let the Afflicted close his/her eyes. The priest with authority and faith, while his right hand is placed over the Afflicted and the helm of his stole around the neck of the Afflicted, commands the spirits saying:
Spirits of darkness and divination, I command you, in the Name of + Jesus, come out of N., leave and never return. (3x)
The above command can be repeated as necessary if there is a reaction until deliverance is made.
Next, get the Afflicted to agree with you to seal the “third eye” opening to the spirit realm. To seal or close the “third eye,” anoint the Afflicted generously with exorcised oil or oil of the infirmed or oil of catechumens on the forehead and command in the name of Jesus that “the third eye” permanently be closed, never to be opened again:
Occult Third Eye given by the spirit of divination, I command you, in the Name of + Jesus (anointing the forehead) to be closed and never to be opened again. (3x)
The above commands can be repeated as necessary if there is a reaction until deliverance is made.
It is fitting that the Afflicted makes his consecration to God or the Most Immaculate Virgin Mary.
P. With firm trust and love of God, make your Consecration to the Most Immaculate Virgin Mary, Our Mother, so that through her intercession you may be liberated from the power of evil.
While kneeling the Afflicted makes the Act of Consecration before a crucifix, an icon or image of Our Lord or of Our Lady, or before the Blessed Sacrament:
O Most Immaculate and Loving Virgin Mary, Mother of God and my Mother, Who was present at the crucifixion and death of your Son Jesus on the hill of Calvary, Have mercy on me, your son (your daughter), have mercy on this poor suffering body of mine harassed and oppressed by the Evil One. Through the merits of your sorrows, grant me relief and comfort. Close now my psychic abilities, which I have obtained through the power of demons. These psychic abilities I renounce and surrender totally to you. I consecrate myself to you, I dedicate myself to you, I offer myself to you. (3x with fervor) Hear my supplication dearest Mother and Queen. Through the love you have for Your Son Jesus who has entrusted me to your maternal care. Amen.
or
Prayer to Mary, Undoer of Knots.
Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exists in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon me and see the snarl of knots that exist in my life. You know very well how desperate I am, my pain and how I am bound by these knots. Close now my psychic abilities, the knot which I have forged with the evil one. These psychic abilities I renounce and surrender totally to you. Undo dearest Mother the knots of the evil one in my life. (3x with devotion) Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of his children, I entrust into your hands the ribbon of my life. I consecrate myself to you, I dedicate myself to you, I offer myself to you. (3x with devotion.) No one, not even the evil one himself, can take it away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone. Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with Your Son and My Liberator; Jesus, take into your hands today this knot. I beg you to undo it for the glory of God, once for all, You are my hope. O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution and with Christ the freedom from my chains. Hear my plea. Keep me, guide me, protect me, O safe refuge!
Mary Undoer of Knots, pray for me.
Anointing with Chrism
The priest using, if possible, the Oil of Chrism, anoints the forehead of the Afflicted with these words:
May the Most Immaculate Virgin Mary, receive your consecration, and may it be pleasing to the Most High to grant you deliverance and healing through her intercession. In the name of the Father + and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. (3x)
The Anointing of the Senses can also follow using Chrism Oil.
Prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ for deliverance from evil.
To be prayed by the Afflicted:
O Lord Jesus + Christ, Son of God, for the sake of Your most honorable Mother, Your holy Angels, Your Prophet and Forerunner and Baptizer, and of all the God-inspired Apostles, of the radiant and victorious Martyrs, of the holy and God-bearing Fathers, and by the prayers of all the Saints, deliver me from the besetting presence of the devil. My Lord and Creator, who desires not the death of the sinner, but that he should repent and live, grant also conversion to me, who am wretched and unworthy; snatch me from the jaws of the pernicious serpent, who is ravening to devour me and drag me down to Hell alive. My Lord, my Comfort, who was clothed in corruptible flesh for my miserable sake, deliver me from misery and grant comfort to my soul. Implant in my heart to fulfil Your commandments, and to forsake my evil deeds, and to receive Your joys. Save me, for I hope in You, O Lord. Amen.
Prayer to the Venerable Cross
To be said by the priest while showing the Cross and making the Sign of the Cross with it:
+ Let God arise and let his enemies be scattered; and let those who hate Him Flee before His Presence. As smoke vanishes, so let them vanish; and as wax melts before the fire, so let the demons perish before the presence of those who love God and who sign themselves with the Sign of the Cross and say in gladness: Hail, most precious and life-giving Cross of the Lord, for You drive away the demons by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified on You and who went down to Hell and trampled on the power of the devil, and gave us You, His venerable Cross, for driving away all enemies. O most precious and life-giving Cross of the Lord, help me, with our Holy Lady, the Virgin Mother of God and with all the Saints throughout the ages. Amen.
The Afflicted kisses the Cross, saying:
Guard me, O Lord, by the power of Your holy and life-giving Cross, and keep me from all evil.
Into your hands, O Lord Jesus Christ, my God, I surrender my spirit, soul and body; + Bless me, + save me and + grant me eternal life. Amen.
Glory be to the + Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Be my soul’s defender, O God, for I step over many snares. Deliver me from them and save me, O Good One, in Your love for man. Now and always, and forever and ever. Amen.
Final Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary
To be prayed by the Afflicted with devotion.
It is truly right to bless you, O God-bearing One, as the ever-blessed and immaculate Mother of our God. More honorable than the cherubim and by far more glorious than the seraphim; ever a virgin, you gave birth to God the Word, O true Mother of God, we magnify you. All my hope I place in You, O Mary Mother of God; keep me under the wings of Your protection.
In the name of the Father, + and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
(Cabading, p. 82)
Breaking Curses of the Occult
I bind in the Most Precious Blood of Jesus any and all evil curses, pacts, spells, seals, hexes, vexes, triggers, trances, vows, demonic blessings, voodoo, or any other demonic bondages sent against N. or myself, or any of our loved ones or any of our possessions; I bind them all and break them in the Name of the Father and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit. (Thrice)
Another Form
Any evil spirits associated with any and all evil curses, pacts, spells, seals, hexes, vexes, triggers, trances, vows, demonic blessings, voodoo, or any other demonic bondages sent against N. or myself, or any of our loved ones or any of our possessions, you and all of your companion spirits in the Name of Jesus, by His Precious Blood and the authority of my priesthood [with the authority granted to me by Jesus Christ and His Church], I bind you separately and individually and break all seals: you are bound and the seals are broken in the Name of the Father and of the Son + and of the Holy Spirit. (Thrice)
(Ripperger, Minor Exorcisms, p. 345.)
Prayer of St. Cyprian of Nicomedia to Break Curses
O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, You who controls everything and You govern all things, You who are the Most Glorious Holy One, I glorify You, O King of kings and the Lord of powers, You who sit in the infinite light, which is inaccessible to mortals, You to whom myriad of the angelic hosts and the archangels contemplate, by your divine love I pray, O Lord, so that where once dominated sin will now abound with Your grace.
Now, O Lord my God, I pray and I beg You, to receive my prayer as an offering pleasing in your sight, so that every human being inhabited by an evil spirit be purified. Grant as well to purify the fields, the gardens, the animals, the mills, the fishermen, the merchants, the scientists, the artisans and the silkworms, the employers and their employees, and also Your servant (handmaid) N. with all his (her) kindred.
That what is purified along with his (her) family if it is bound by magic or malefice, for succubus (incubus) or sorcery, or if seventy-two curses has been thrown at Your servant (handmaid) N., or three-hundred seventy-two magic spells were sent in order to harm your servant (handmaid) N., and his (her) household and possessions.
O Lord, grant that the instant my prayer request comes before Your presence, deign that they be all freed from every bondage and every disease, from every magic ties, from any succubus (incubus) infestation or sorcery, from slander, intemperance, lunacy, impotence and from injustice, from all deceit and obstruction on the part of the devil, and at that very moment, let Your servant (handmaid) with his (her) entire family be released from the power of the evil one.
O Lord with Your almighty power that sustains all things and cares for Your servant (handmaid) N., cast out from him (her) and his (her) household all the activities of the author of malice, whether carved or written on animal skin, metal, the stone, wood, or on paper or any other substance.
Yes, Lord, scatter all the works of demons, whether they are fabricated with gold, silver or any other metal, with the bones and nails of human or animal, birds, both living and dead, whether they come from the earth or from a tomb, whether they have been wrapped with a nail or a needle or a pin, which have been linked with a hair, cotton or silk and linen or hemp or with a sac or with a rope and with some other plant, or have been made with the gurgling of the water, or hallow wood or whatever other manner.
Free O Lord, for the sake of Your most holy name of the + Father and of the + Son and of the + Holy Spirit, and by the power of Your most precious Cross, giver of life, that returns vitality to the oppressed soul of Your servant (handmaid) N. May Your right hand be for him (her) and his (her) whole household an impregnable protection and aid. May it carry with it happiness and joy, for You are blessed, both now and forever and ever. Amen.
My God arise and his enemies be scattered, and let them flee from His face all those who oppose him. They are defeated by the sign of the venerable Cross all opposing powers.
O Lord, through the prayer of all the Saints and the Mother of God, grant us Your peace and have mercy on us, Merciful One. Amen.

V. Dominus vobiscum.
R. Et cum spiritu tuo.
Oremus.
R. Amen.

Breaking Bonds From Previous Sexual Partners
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the authority of the Church, I break any ties between N. and all former sexual partners, (including N., N., N., etc...). I break all ties including any mental, emotional, spiritual and physical bonds with all former sexual partners, and anyone with whom they have had relations as well. I wash N. in the blood of the Lamb and cleanse him (her) from any stain of sin or attachment of any kind to these individuals. I also ask our Lord to free those former partners from any evil caused by these relationships. May St. Michael and the Holy Angels sever any bonds of sin and protect this person from all evil and harm. I pray that the Blessed Mother would spread her mantle of protection over N. now and always.
Prayer of Liberation from the Spirit of Divination and Closing of the "Occult Third Eye" - Short Form
Renouncement
This prayer can be used as an option if the afflicted is deep into the practice of the occult:
Amen.
or
I confess to You, my Lord, God and Creator, to the One glorified and worshipped in Holy Trinity, to the + Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all my sins which I have committed all the days of my life, at every hour, in the present and in the past, day and night, in thought, word and deed: by gluttony, drunkenness, secret eating, idle talking, despondency, indolence, contradiction, neglect, aggressiveness, self-love, hoarding, stealing, lying, dishonesty, curiosity, jealousy, envy, anger, resentment, and remembering wrongs, hatred, vindictiveness, playing with occult powers; and by all my senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch; and all other sins, spiritual and bodily, through which I have angered You, My God and Creator, and caused injustice to my neighbors.
Absolution
The priest puts his hand on the head of the Afflicted and says:
P. May Almighty + God have mercy on you, forgive you your sins, and grant you everlasting life.
R. Amen.
Breaking Generational Curses
In the name of the Lord Jesus + Christ, and by the power of his Word, I take the sword of the + Spirit and cut you N. free from all generational inherited sins, weaknesses, character defects, personality traits, cellular disorders, and genetic disorders. I sever all unhealthy soul-ties and forms of enmeshment and cut all bonds that are not of the Lord. I put his cross between you N., your parents, your grandparents and ancestors,* your siblings, your offspring, your spouse (if the person has no siblings or is not married and has no children then skip the text), and any unhealthy relationships that you or anyone close to you have had with others in the past. I cut all bonds of these relationships that are not of the Lord back to the beginning of time, and by the sword of the Spirit, and in the name of Jesus + Christ, I say that you are free, free to be the child of God the Lord intended you to be.
When all unholy seals, consecrations, covenants, ties, relationships have been cut, then the priest continues with a petition to the Holy Spirit for in-filling and the re-consecration to God is made.
O Most Holy Spirit, enter into the empty spaces left by these spirits and fill your servant (handmaid)
