Privacy Policy
Catholic Exorcism

This Privacy Policy describes how The St. Michael Center for Spiritual Renewal ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Catholic Exorcism mobile application (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. We collect as little information as possible. The App does not require an account, and you can use all of its features without providing any personal information.
Information We Collect
Information you provide voluntarily. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. This is entirely optional. We do not collect your name, location, or any other personal details, and we do not ask about or record your religious beliefs or practices.
Information collected automatically. Like most mobile apps, the App uses third-party analytics and crash-reporting services to help us understand general usage and fix problems. These services may automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, general usage events (for example, which screens are opened), crash logs, and approximate (non-precise) location derived from IP address. This information is aggregated or pseudonymous; we do not use it to identify you personally.
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or any other sensitive device information.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to send the newsletter you requested, to understand aggregate usage of the App so we can improve it, and to diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Third-Party Service Providers
We share information only with the service providers that make the App and newsletter work: an email newsletter provider, which stores subscriber email addresses and sends the newsletter on our behalf, and analytics and crash-reporting providers, which process the technical data described above. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes beyond providing services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Data Retention
We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address. Analytics and crash data are retained according to the retention settings of our analytics providers and are then deleted or aggregated.
Your Choices and Rights
Unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You may also contact us at the address below to be removed.
Access and deletion. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you (for most users, at most an email address) and ask us to correct or delete it. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.
Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. We process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. We process technical and analytics data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Data may be processed on servers located in the United States; where required, our service providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we collect only the limited categories of information described in this policy. You may exercise your rights to access or delete personal information by contacting us below.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the limited nature of the data we collect reduces risk accordingly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
