Feast of St. Michael's Apparitions in Gargano, Italy May 8th
St. Michael appeared in Gargano, Italy around 490 AD. The sanctuary of Monte Sant'Angelo in Gargano is the oldest shrine in Western Europe dedicated to St. Michael and a wonderful pilgrimage site.
